    New Glass CNC AUSTRALIA (NSW)

    Hey Guys,

I'm the proud owner of a brand new Intermac Master 33, it would appear that there is not too many people with a great deal of experience that wish to share knowledge amongst the glazing industry.

I'm based at Coffs Harbour NSW Australia, anyone that is passionate about glass and would like to pass some experience on would be accepted greatly.

Yes, Biesse is the parent company to Intermac and Biesse is primarly a stone based company. I believe the difference is the actual spindel, my spindal will handle glass with ease but certainly not stone. I'm just trying to broaden my knowledge base with iCam, the tooling and the function and operation of the machine as it is all very new to us.

    Little off topic but
A little while back I was asked if i could make some spoked gears out of glass around 50mm OD Would this be possible?
I told him I could not do it.
Hope you are getting to know your mill better

    Good Evening,
just browsing through and am impressed with your acquisition. Yes, I love glass and machining.
Been sculpting with CNC for many years (since 1968)
doing it for the hi-tech aerospace world.
Plexiglas is as near as I have been to the real thing.

Here is a link to an acquaintance into glass:
    Visual Impact Technologies Holographic Glass

Also personally know the Correia's from school days.
    Correia Art Glass
I was very impressed with Steve's glass shop prismatic stuff and Algerina (sis) does the art stuff. Both very talented and creative.

I am familiar with all types of machining (grinding / cutting) and am amazed there is a CNC glass machine,
What type of help do you need?

I know this thread is OLD...

The company I am working for just bought a Intermac glass 33 too. How do you find the machine as a whole? Do you have any manual on the M code this machine is using?
