Looking for mentor in Savannah, GA

Hello,

I'm a Mechanical Engineer by day, and just starting to dabble with CNC as a hobby at home. I am new to the area and don't know anyone who's really into doing anything in the garage aside from parking cars and stashing junk. Looking for someone to learn from, or learn with. Primary interest is automotive, but also interested in woodworking.

My current projects are a turbo civic and a V6 Opel GT.
