    Ventura, CA

Hello all...I am a newbie and not sure where to post this. Not sure if I am doing this in the wrong order but I built a controller for my K2CNC and purchased a license for mach 3, but silly me...am having a hard time figuring everything out on how to use it...it is just mainly a hobby. Was just wondering if there was anyone in the Ventura, CA area that can give me a few pointers, I am a quick learner. It is mainly to see if my controller works and to give me a kick in the right direction. I am also in the process of building a CNC lathe at my cabinet shop to take the place of my Legacy ornimental mill. I hope this finds the right person, thanks for reading this. Dave

    Hi Dave,

Check with Scot Robe at Ventura College (Machine Tool Tech. Dept.), he may lead you to the right source.

    CNCPro,Turbo CNC,Mach3

Hello Everyone, I am new as well to the CNC world and eager to learn CNCPro, Turbo CNC, Mach 3. Are there training courses, user groups .... anywhere in Los Angeles I can go to. I have a ton of questions and need to learn and setup software & hardware. I am also looking to build a 4 axis cnc machine. I would appreciate feedback/advice. I live in S.F valley and work in tech support fro my company that makes high speed mail inserting equipment. Thanks.
