air chuck

does anyone know where i can get my hands on an air operated 3 or 4" three jaw chuck for a boxford or similar lathe, or plans for making one.

I assume you are looking for a power chuck with the air drawbar??
I have a couple of older LOGAN power chucks here..
not sure what size you are looking for, both are three jaw style..
also have a few collet chucks, agaijn power style..
Located Sask, Canada, if you are close, you can stop by and look at them..

I'm actually more interested in plans for one (just want to build one for s@#$% and giggles).

there's not actually too much inside those critters...a person could probably build a rough one fairly easily, just mechanical leverage and linkage mostly..
