| math needed to build a cnc I was just cruising around the forums and, as always , I find myself trying to remember bits and pieces of math formulas i saw that I need to use at the next step in my cnc build. Do you think it would be good to have a forum purley dedicated to the different math formulas used in building a cnc machine? or does this already exsist and I missed it? It could be a "read only" area for reference on things like sizing motors, power supply math, ball screw/pitch/t.p.i. formulas ect...I think it would ease the repetitive questions on the forums and serve as a good teaching tool? just a thought feel free to flame-throw me if it is a bad idea |
