    Drilled & Tapped Precision Shafting

    Where to find?

The local machine shop must not be working on all cylinders because they told me the only way to do this is to have them machine some cold rolled shafting with drilled and tapped holes.

Like many CNC designs, I'm looking at switching over to having a 1" shaft with keyed holes for mounting along the frame.

Could someone kindly point me in a direction to find some of these shaftings, and maybe let me know how much I'm looking at, thanks.
