    Coefficient of Friction

Please help. I'm trying to find the coefficients of friction for stainless steel and cast iron. I know that iron has a higher coefficient of friction, but I don't know how much higher.

FYI, this is for brake rotor research. Since brake pads vary greatly, I'll have to assume the comparisons to be SS on SS and iron on iron.

Does anyone here have that information?

    TIA!
