Hello folks. this is my first post. Goal: Find a fairly small metal lathe and related hardware/software to produce, design and customize trumpet mouthpieces. That and some helpful guides, literature etc. Don't need much size as a mouthpiece is less than four inches long. I have plenty of brass rod stock. Thank you for your anticipated support in advance. | Hello and welcome. One choice is member JFettig's (Jon) products: http://jfettigmachines.com/ I believe he offers a complete small lathe converted to CNC. For software, you can run Mach which is great and inexpensive. Jon can give you all the details. JR |
