Speeds and Feeds for Beginners and Technical Reference

I've recieved a couple of requests for speed/feed calculations so I figured I'd start a thread for everyone to read and/or throw their $.02 into.

You guys blow me away with the fact that you can maneuver through this forum! I'm such a beginner...that "Speeds and Feeds for Beginners" was over my head!!! Help!! Well...at least I figured out how to use the smileys...I guess I can feel good about that:tired

A very useful bit of kit but is it available in metric version too? I am presuming it is imperial.
