    rose engines

Does anyone here have a really firm grasp of rose engines? I am interested in possibly building one(cnc or not) and I am not sure I really get all of the complexities of the machine and its not an easy the to find info on.

sounds cool. basic priciple seems not too complicated, may be hard to actually do.

I had no idea that you could make an engine out of a rose.

I guess that’s one way to make the world a rosier place.
    thanks

you into watchmaking? rose engine is an extremely precise piece of equipment, not sure of the resources required to build one at home but you'd definitely need some high-precision machinery to make it.

there is no reason a cnc machine wouldn't be able to cut all the patterns that rose engines produce but alignment would be critical so a touch probe would be an absolute requirement.
