    Spacial machining ..piston connecting rod

    hi guyz..
i have good knowledge of making diy cnc machines ... i made a cnc router for experiments... and i want to start a new project now...

i have a very big job work of machining the 2 ID holes on each end of a connecting rod of a piston to crank shaft...

i want to automate it... so my question is which type of machine will be more helpful ? a cnc milling machine or a cnc lathe ? which one will be more practical ? currently this job is being done on a manual center grinding machine...

More information (con-rod dimensions and tolerances) is needed to give you an intelligent response to your question.
