I'm looking for a software simulator which I can use to create a graphical model for this (graphical waterfall system) discussed in this forum by Khalid Kattak.

The model will contain valves, and I want to be able to control their properties (outlet, inlet, pressure,....) and write a code to control opening and closing them based on binary data.
I aim to see the model in 2D or 3D so I can see how the water fall from the valves when I run my model.. :-)
Any suggestions?
