NEMA 34 shaft diameter specification

I recently ordered a NEMA 34 stepper motor and found the shaft diameter was 0.62" diameter. I was under the impression all NEMA 34 motors had a 0.50" diameter shaft.

Just curious if the NEMA spec specifies shaft diameter, or is it just the frame mounting dimension?

Is it maybe actually a IEC mount and a 16mm shaft?

I suppose it could be....the mfg calls it a NEMA 34 motor though.
