    Post SIK? what is it?

    Hi guys,

    i have a Mil drawing and it calls for a .120 SIK what is that? i looked in all the reference material and i cant find any reference to what it means.

    if anyone is familiar i would appreciate the help.

    Hi Larry,
    no its a cnc part its 304SS it calls for a hole .120 SIK and i dont know what does it mean.

    Since it is a MIL piece, I use to ask customer if possible.
    For me it sounds like a (silicon..)coating, or specified surface treatment/finish with .120 (microns) ?

    Thanks for the response. it turned out that its not SIK its STK which means stock thickness my friend help me out with that.
