Problem- Mitsu. inverter motor cont. ?

Please bear with me as this machine belongs to an older gentlemen
that could use some help.
A little history;
machine was bought New by him in 1996
It is a HAAS VF3 15HP w/HAAS controllers
The spindle drive is a Mitsubishi

This machine was under water during Katrina. Everything else works up to this point. and to be honest I'm not sure what other info you need.
All his literature was lost in the flood.

seems to have lost its parameters. The region resistors are getting full voltage all the time. The wires burned up and they turned red. Thats how it was explained to me. lol

Is this on a CNC machine?
If so what type of machine? What type of control is on that machine?
Have you tried contacting the machine tool builder?

yes it is on a CNC machine.

Turns out the machine is a HAAS VF3 15hP with HAAS controllers but the inverter/spindle drive in made by Mitsubishi

The regen resistors shouldn't get any voltage unless the motor is decelerating. It sounds like there is something internally wrong with the drive itself. I don't see how parameters would cause this problem.
