CB3 10amp Single Phase Breaker QT8 Lathe

On a '89 Mazak 8SP lathe with the T-2 controller can someone tell me what the CB3 10amp breaker controls.

CB2 and CB4 are large 30amp NSFB, but the CB3 is a standard 10amp breaker.

The machine is a twin spindle machine.

Obviously I don't have the electrical schematics for this machine.

You need to contact Mazak Service that covers your area. Give them Machine model and control type along with serial number and they can answer your questions without any second quessing.
Also they can give you pricing on all the manuals that you really should have for that machine.

Yeah I will have to try local as I signed up on the Mazak site 3 weeks ago and yet to get approved. Hopefully local service can help us out.

Having the manuals sure would be nice, but honetly I don't know if this machine is going to stay around much longer. It has been here 3months and yet to turn a part.

CB3 supplies all contactors coils ( Wires 0A and 0B) 100VAC for the Hydraulic pump motor, Coolant pump motor, Chip conveyor, Chuck clamp and unclamp, Turret, etc, It's basically a common supply to everything including some cooling fans. I think it feed a 24 volt supply also.
