Hello, I need to network my Fusion controls to a central server and have some questions. At my facility we need to store all programs on a designated server folder and pull programs as needed into our Mazaks. Only one program allowed in each machine at all times (current part running on machine). I believe I can do this my either using the HD I/O or the DNC I/O but not sure how to map the network share folder to the machine. Any info would be appreciated, Philip |

| Most M640 controls are Win95 based and networking is simple. Any IT dept can set up your machines. Share the MC_Backup\Other folder on the machine side and you can drag and drop programs using your network. Use HD-I/O to transfer the prograns to and from the machine main memory. Use CAPS only and use no spaces in the folder name or the machine will not allow you to use it for HD-I/O file transfer. Since Win95 does not support wireless networking you will have to hard wire it. (there are wireless adaptors but I have not seen one works well with a M640) Hope this helps, good luck. |
