mazatrol t1 errors

i have a error on a mazatrol t1 . 82 ille. tool no.
i am very new to using mazatrol and cant get the machine past this alarm signal. can anyone tell me the meaning of this alarm signal.

The full description of 82 is Process data entry error - Inapplicable tool Number instruction (No tool assigned).

does the tool number consist of only the turret position? i can see a screen that has the tool description, can there be a problem here which will indicate the same error?

Hi There;

Have you register your tools on the tool data file location of the T1 mazatrol.

Chance are you are missing some imporatant info for the tools on your turret. Go to your program location and select tool data.
You can also get to the tool data by selecting the menu keys. Make sure you put each tool in correctly.

If you have the operator manual it can help you in this area. Also the alarm manual has the alarms listed and can tell you exactly what is going on.

thanks for the help. i have moved forward with some of te machines controls but witout a manual i'm a bit in the dark. is there any manuals avaliable on the net? or can i get an example of a simple program from some were?

I have to look around my office area, but I think I may have a General Information manual for programming and tool setup.
Not certain on the On Line Manual Sources .
Will e-mail you if I find that manual.
