Hi guys,

I am sorry to say that none of those links lead to a place where you can find the old and semi-old systems manuals. No matter what I do I always end up at the "Melfans" site. Once there, I always get lost when clicking CNC, Manuals etc... It is one of the worst sites, ever made, to navigate. Anyone knows the EXACT clicks and ALL clicks one have to do to actually get to the Meldas 520 Manuals, all of them. Or is there a web browser setting one have to change as well?

Buy me a Beer?

Evidentally you cannot access the site if not in N.A.
I believe there is a work around, you may find it with a search.
Other than that, is to get someone to send them by email.
Al.

I find it easier to use IE for the browser.Go into Internet settings in the control panel, click the security tab, click custom settings and turn off active scripting.
It`s still difficult to get in as they seem to have been working on keeping Europeans out.As soon as a page you want has loaded hit the stop button or it will go on through to the Melfans site.
As Al says this has been posted before and a search should find it.When you get there, download everything in sight as I believe eventually it will be impossible to connect to that site unless you are in NA.

Thanks for the tip gridley51,

So you suggest I go here www.meau.com , click "Downloads" and then hit the "stop button"?

I use IE7 and have de-activated "allow scripts" but exactly which button is that "stop button"?

It is "active scripting" you have to disable.
The stop button is the red X underneath Bookmarks at the top of the screen.Next to the refresh button.

I`ve just had a look at meau.com and can`t get on at all.On explorer it just keeps reloading the menu page and on Mozilla goes through to the Melfans site.
I don`t know if Mazak have a hand in this or not.In Europe Mits won`t talk to you about any of their equipment in a Mazak machine, they refer you to Mazak.
Our goverments couldn`t care less about this,I don`t think it would be legal in North America.
I`m ok,I`ve got copies of everything that was of any use to me from that site.

WOW!!!!

By far the best trick ever to solve this annoying problem And one does not have to change anything in IE either. I am already inside the "candy store" looking around for things to download.

Well done sjj!
