Need Help!- MAZATROL FUSION 640 ...not booting...

hello,

my hardisk of my mazak has died..so i boughut i knew one, i install win95 on it..so far so good...now comes the big proablem - after i install MAZATROL FUSION 640 and i restart the computer, it first apear that in system.ini the file "VNCPD.VXD" is missing ,....pressing enter the computer is entering in windows and it try to load the program "mazatrol fusion 640". Here it freez, the splash window remains, and nothing else hapened. (you have attached 3 images hoppely to understand beter what i'm traying to say)

Have you checked to see if this file is where it's suppose to be? If it's missing, then you have the answer to your problem as to why it won't boot.
How did you install Windows95..from scratch, or were you somehow able to copy your old HDD??

i cheked already, and the file is there. The instalation was simple because a linked the new hardisk to my laptop with a rack (ATA TO USB), and i have copied the instalation kits for "windows 95" and for "MAZATROL FUSION 640". After that i put the HDD back to mazak and start the instalation in there.

The old hdd is dead, it is not rotating anymore...so it was imposible for me to recover anything.

Any ideea what could be?

Perhaps the file is corrupted? Is it in the right location?? If you have another machine with a fusion control maybe copy the file from that one.
Do you have the Watchdog light on next to the 7-segment LED on the back of the control?

i checked and the file is there, ...i don't have another machine from were i could copy that file....i think that the entire program could be damaged because i copyed it from some floppy disks.....i don't know....


could anyone give me an working version of "mazatrol fusion 640" to install it in there, and try to see if it works....

Not just any version will work. It must match the firmware version on the motherboard in your control.
If you can get your HDD to work again somehow you can copy the installation disks from the NCbackup directory.
Ive heard stories about people putting their HDDs in the freezer for a period of time to get it going again. I've never personally had to do this.

does enyone know if you must put a special windows 95 on the hardisk to install then mazatrol or..it work with an ordinary windows 95.


have anyone try this thing until now?

I believe the Fusion 640T that we have uses a Windows 95 realtime kernel. I remember seeing that on the boot screen so I do believe it is different from retail Win95.

You will need the disk set for Mazatrol for your machine with the correct version such as B1 or C1, or......etc. It must match your machines firmware. You will need to get these from Mazak if you don't have them. The file you say is giving you the error on bootup may not be in the location that Windows is expecting it to be.
