    Question HELP PLEASE

    HELP PLEASE

    I have a Mazak cnc that keeps on stoping with a( 410 servo alarm )the value of position deviation amount of the X axis is larger than the value allowed while the machine is stopped.This happens while rapiding in the x axis,does anyone out there have a solution?

    maybe a bad encoder or faulty tach,did you try slowing down your rapid to see if it still
    does it,i would lean more towards the tach

    ye I changed the G00 at the start of cut to a G01 and it helped.How do you change the rapid speed.I don't have a manual.

    It helps to give the machine type and the make of the control.
    Mazak fitted primarily Mitsubishi but some Fanuc, the 410 alarm sound like a Fanuc number.
    If it is Fanuc, it may help for future question to ask in the Fanuc Forum.

    on the control there should be a rapid overide button,try running at 50%,i think your machine is just older and tired,i had one that wont run at full rapid without faulting out
    could be any of a number of things ,but if it works at half the rapid might be way to go
