Is there a major difference between these 2 controls? I'm looking at 2 SQT18M lathes both almost identical save for the fact that one is a 94 with a T32B control and the other is a 95 with a T-plus control. I plan on using Mazatrol even for programming the live tooling. So what makes the T-Plus better (if it is?) thanks |

During the T32 days the T32B was the scaled down version with out all the toys. Eaxample would be the monocrome screen instead of color. Some other features were taken out like tool path and simulation. As far as the ability of the control to run a mazatrol program everything was the same. When the T-plus control came out it was the next generationl that offered many improvements such as process time. The same program running and the T32 would run around 20% quicker on the T-plus because of the control process time. The control also offered additional features on the mazatrol side with more additions to the threading and groving cycles for example. Hopefully this helps. |
