I use this engraving software Millwrite 2000. Normally just engrave in our mazak mill with a M32 control now I want to try to engrave a part in our 250MSY with a Matrix control. I'm not good with G code I program everything in mazatrol except the Millwrite generated g code for engraving but I'm having a problem with the engraving with the Matrix. Here's the beginning of the program generated by Millwrite; G20 U0 T0101 G00 G97 G98 G12.1 M200 M203 S4500 G0 G90 G53 Z.1 X0.0 Y0.0 G0 Z0.1 G0 Z-0.1436 G0 X-0.2873 C0.2223 G0.05 G1 Z0.0191 The alarm I get is (1802 Illegal startup condition G12.1) What I'm I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. |

| This is lifted right out of the EIA Programming manual: G07.1 is CYLINDRICAL! radial driven tool axis (vertical) 4. Sample programs In case of the figure on the right: P0→P1→P2→P3→P4→P5→P6→P7 (r = 50 mm) G00 G98; G28 U0 W0; T001001; M200; G18 W0 H0; X52. M203 S1000; G01 X40.F100; G07.1 C50.; G01 C80.F100; P0 → P1 G03 Z-25.C90.R50.; P1 → P2 G01 Z-80.C225.; P2 → P3 G02 Z-75.C270.R55.; P3 → P4 G01 Z-25.; P4 → P5 G03 Z-20.C280.R80.; P5 → P6 G01 C360.; P6 → P7 G07.1 C0.; G28 U0; G28 W0 H0; M202; M30 this is also lifted from the EIA book, for G12.1 polar interpolation: axial driven tool axis (horizontal) N001 G00 G97 G98; N004 G28 U0 W0; N008 M200; N010 T001000; N020 G00 X100.0 Z10.0 C0.0; N030 G17UH; G12.1; N040 G42; N050 G01 X50.0 F500; N060 C10.0; N070 G03 X-50.0 C10.0 I-25.0; N080 G01 C-10.0; N090 G03 X50.0 C-10.0 R25.0; N100 G01 C0.0; N110 G00 X100.0; N120 G40; N130 G13.1; N140 M202; M Positioning to the start point Selection of the XC-plane Polar coordinate interpolation start Shape program (Program with rectangular coordinate values on XC-plane) Polar coordinate interpolation cancel above text should correspond to the above programming lines. I just didnt bother reformatting here. NOTE BOTH EXAMPLES ARE IN METRIC! the main thing you want from these examples is the program flow. programming words have to occur in the proper order to turn on and off. juxtaposition is deadly, programming-wise. I suspect your post processor is not exactly matched to how the matrix likes to be feed G code? Good luck! 90% Jimmy |
