Anyone familiar with a MAZAK QT-15 with a T2 controller?

Hi everyone, we have a Mazak Quick Turn 15 with the Mazatrol T2 controller. It has no sub-spindle or live tools. We have always used Mazatrol programs but now have to switch over to G-code for a complex curve the Mazatrol can't handle. Since we have no post-processor in FeatureCam that seems to post proper code, I'm hoping someone out there has one of these controllers and can give me a sample program. I could also use any advice on related post processors that I might be able to tweak. Thanks SO MUCH in advance!

I was hoping somebody with your control would answer.
We have a 640T control but I would bet that the EIA format is the same. When I was looking for a sample EIA program myself I got a different Mazak control and tried it. It worked and I tweaked it to look like what I like to see. On the chance that this would help, here it is:

Thanks extanker.... I'll give that a try tomorrow to see if our control will handle it. I seem to remember that the Mazak support guys claimed the T2 control didn't like the double G71 lines. We willl see. Thanks for the programming and have a great weekend!

extanker.....Yeah, the controller doesn't like the dual G71 lines just like the Mazak guys mentioned. I WAS able to get the program running by breaking the code out of the canned cycle. It ran flawlessly other than a few manipulations I had to make due to the amount of data the T2 will intake. I had to split the roughing pass into two separate programs with the finish pass tacked on to the second program. The key in getting this dude to run smoothly though was the G53 command instead of the G50. This allows the controller to call up various data inputs from the tool data and program files screens. At least I'm TOLD that's what it does. I know it WORKS and that's all I care about to be honest. Thanks for the post!!! JB

Excellent. Interesting how different Mazaks respond.
Glad to help, even in a small way.
