| I have an older mazak with a cam m2 dripfeeding from my pc any one know how i would go about setting up the control in auto there is no tape button but a tape port. anyone no about the function keys to pull up an asterics rather than the program number. |

| On the M2, to enter "tape mode", depress F2 at the same time you depress AUTO. As long as you have the correct firmware revision, the F2 key should remain lit after the keys are depressed. At this point the Work No. at the top corner of the screen will disply "****", this tells you it is ready to read a program from the RS-232 port. If the F2 key does not stay lit, you don't have the correct firmware revision and you will need to send some of your boards to Mitsubishi for a repair or upgrade. Hope this helps. |
