my guess is no, they are mostly mutually exclusive. as much overlap as an okuma control and a fanuc. all mazatrol controls are a joint venture between mitsubishi and mazak and can only be had on Mazak built machines. a mits 'standard' cnc available to all machine tool builders is a wonderful cnc control. I finds mits controls to have a wonderful man-machine interface, but everybody out there had fanuc mastered so it's much more widely accepted. this is only my personal opinion. jim |
