Need Help!- Mitsubishi control multiple problems

Mitsubishi control on a Mazak VQC 20/40B. After 4 months of power down reinitialized the control but have a few issues.
1) Now shows an "A" axis on screen
2) When doing a tool layout the drum number changes to the program number plus one and all the tools dissapear.
3) On tool data page when cursor is positioned on tool diameter input changes the length.

By reinitialized you mean you followed the Mazak procedure? If you just turned on the machine and it is braindead there is more to it than reloading parameters. Do you have the procedure to reinitialize a braindead M2? (I do, if you need it let me know)After you follow the procedure you will then have to load a parameter backup or put them in from the parameter sheet.

If you mean turning off dip switch #2, turning machine on and off till parity lights go off then returning dip switch back on, that is what I tried. Then reloaded parameters from tape. This machine has a M1 control.

I have attached the Mazak procedure for M2 reinitializing. It should work for M1 also. Good luck with it.

I had done the reinitialization with the dip switches and now I cant access the hidden parametes , I can only access the normal parameters and my f2 &f3 keys are not powered (leds dont light up) whats the deal?
