Setting Rigid tap for for MX-2 controller the book has very little info on this. So how do you know you even have it? I know it's an option but an important feature like this, you would think they would have a little more info on this. What I get from other posts is the "H" value on the same line as G84 G84 X Y R Z P H(?) Does this look right any tips would be appreicated Jim C Last edited by Jcip; 03-13-2009 at 11:25 AM. I just started working with a '94 Mazak 41M with Yasnac control. Rigid tap for it uses the following format- G93 G84Z R F G94 G93- RIGID TAP ON (MODAL) G84Z (DEPTH) R (REFERENCE PLANE) F (LEAD= 1/PITCH) G94 CANCEL RIGID TAP (MODAL) |

| The above should be right as I recall ... should follow the standard Yasnac format. The "H" you're referring to started on the Mitsubishi built controllers. The "H" can control the type of tapping cycle and switch between synchronous or floating with a "H1" or "H0"...
