    Unhappy To find a job

    Hello all,

I'm from France and since lost my last job @ Lyon I moved to Toulouse to find new job but a lot of companies ask me for Mazatrol M2 and I only have skills on NUM1060, Fanuc 16/18i and Heidenhain TNC4xx xxx séries.
Can anyone help me to find programming & operating manual or any small tutorial to begin. I am self-taught and I learn quickly.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards.

Company won't hire just because of the controller? I wouldn't work for them if they had that attitude, Anybody doing this long enough would figure it out in a coulpe of days to a week max. Companies can't find enough good people in the US even with the economy we're in.

    Good luck

    Mazatrol

Thanks for reply. I know there is no problem for any companie about the process working but the place where there are a lot of opportunity most of this work with MAZAK/MAZATROL. About 80% ask me if i know Mazatrol.

Is there is no way to get just a little memo or tuto with functions & specs?

    Thanks

    B.R.

Try 'pitching' to them that Mazak is easy to learn.
If you've done fanuc and siemens, mazak is far easier to learn.
Fanuc has no conversational, it's pure programming on older controllers.

    FAPT

I may be mistaken, but Fanuc FAPT controllers are still available, I think.

Fanuc - automatically programmed tools is the approximate meaning.

was only fully baked for lathes, i think they gave up on m/c's?

it was fanuc's answer to mazatrol back in the mid 80's?

and fanuc's delightful pricing policies sells this for in the neighborhood of $30,000 for this 'option'.

I've seen people proficient in it and it's impressive to see a good FAPT jock on one of these, to this day!
