| Good afternoon This is my first time posting on here, So I'm not that familar with this. I've got a ajv 15/40 with a m2 control. The problem that I'm having is drilling a .037 dia. hole .125 deep. Simple enough but it wants to start .2 above zero and begin there. There's 50 holes in each part, taking way to long. I'm sure this is controlled by a parameter but can't figure out which one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks drlx3 |

| Hmm... M2 control, ... I can't hardly remember it. Been a long time since I've seen one. I know on the generation after yours, you can control in TPC but I don't remember for M2. There are some M2 users on here... maybe they'll chime in.

| BS2 is the parameter for R plane on M2. This only can be set in .1 increments and cannot be set to 0. So the setting is 2 on your machine hence the .2 clearance plane. Parameter INZ will be used for R plane if the following conditions are met. (INZ can be set in .01 increments) Parameter BTD bit six must be set to 1 (add 64 to the number already there) and if preceding the drill a center drill is used in the unit. If no center drill BS2 is used. So adding a spot drill and blasting it at high feed and speed say .01 deep will allow the following drill to use INZ to shorten your drilling air cut time. |
