Need Help!- Mazak Quick Turn 6T

We have a Mazak Quick Turn 6T w/Mazatrol 640t......
I'm tring to get the dnc or even the tape feature to work I have been able to communticate with windows using HyperTerminal and direct link all within windows. Does anyone have any working prameters that I might be able to try Thanks........

Had some luck with the tape feature I can send a file(cnc-->PC) with no problems, but when I try to receive (cnc<--PC) I get a error 549 (data size over) I'm using dnc4u prog.

640T has one meg of std memory.

a standard floppy disk has 1.44 mb. a floppy should be able to handle all your data in/out needs, yes?

for serial info - one funky thing on mazatrols is theres one stop bit one way and 2 going the other. and thats the extent of what i know about the subject.

if you get me your email, i'd be happy to send some handy rs-232 documentation to you.
