Look at your CNC in the electrical cabinet. What are the red LED conditions on the FX PCB's.

Chippy

The LED condition on the CNC is normal. When you read this alarm are you reading it on the diagnostic page or at the bottom of the CRT? If the bottom of the CRT, please go to the diagnostic page and see if there are any more alarms on the page.

Chippy

You said that if you pushed the emergency stop button that the alarm for emergency stop does not show on the alarm diagnostic page right? Again this would be on the diagnostics page not the bottom of the CRT on say the display page.

This may sound stupid, but I have only seen this twice in my time. The alarms are red characters. Is your CRT show any red on any page? Could your red raster be out on the CRT making the alarm messages invisible?

Chippy

Some of the OP's are usually listed in the schematic diagrams that came with the machine.

I have another thought. On the diagnostic screen you should have a list of S/W versions located on the right bottom half of the screen. Can you list thise up for me.

Thanks
Chippy

THE S/W VERSION ARE THE NEXT

MAI1 100:A3 LAN ENG:A
MAI2 110:A3 EIA 130:A2
MCU 520:A3 MIL -------
PCB 200:A3 DNC -------
PC 400:E

THAT IS CORECT
HOPE THIS HELPS

A few more questions now:

1. When did this problem begin?
2. When looking at the CNC in the electrical cabinet, please pull out the card that has the red blinking LED's. Should be an FX15/FX25 or a FX715. This card as either 6 Roms on it or 8 Roms. Please let me know how many. All ROM's will be set next to each other two next to two. The middle ROM's will either be two with two empty sockets or 4 ROM's in the middle.
3. You had mentioned that you changed one of the OP's and the emergency alarm came up or wnet away. Which OP did you change?

Regards,

Chippy

1.-THEY CONNECTED IT IN AN INADEQUATE VOLTAGE AND BURN THE POWER SOURCE OF THE CONTROL
2.-HAVE 8 SOCKETS 2 HAVE EPROMS AND 2 DONīT HAVE ANY AND 4 HAVE EPROMS

OP7 you say you typed 1000 0000. Is there any more ones in this line or is it exactly as you say. OP07 1000 0000? The 1 being located under bit 7 not bit 0. Correct?

Also, two of the chips do not match the s/w versions that you described a few threads back. If you noticed the chips that say YT200 A3 match, but the two that say YT401 do not match the 400 E as you stated. This S/W is the PLC machine builder code where as the 200A3 is the PC basic made by Mitsubishi. The 400 E is the ladder information to link the Machine to the CNC.

Did you loose all parameters when the power was not hooked up right? If so, did you have a hard copy when you reloaded or what did you use.

OP7 is a very important parameter that peretains to the ladder. Is there a zero in OP7 bit 3 or is it a 1. If there is a 1 then this would tell me you should have 4 ROMs in the middle, not just two. If it is a zero, then OP7 bit 3 should be 0.

When the power was hooked up wrong, what damage was done to the CNC? What repairs were made and who made them?

Regards,

Chippy
