Mazak T2 alarm codes

Hi All,
I recently acquired a late 80's QT-15 with the CAM T-2 control.
I was wondering if there exists a listing with explanation for the various alarm codes that may crop up?
I have a persistent alarm every time I try to run a sample program.
When I hit cycle start,the number 293 pops up,and a LED lights next to something called "MC" alarm.This particular alarm has no explanation in the manuals that came with my machine,which total two books.One is an operating manual,and one is a programming manual.
Unfortunately these seem to be for a QT8 and not a 15.
The dealer I bought the unit from indicated the info should be virtually the same.
At this point,that is hard to tell for sure.
I figured I'd get on here and ask before I get involved with MAZAK corporate HQ.
BTW,I can get the machine to move manually by way of the various controls,so maybe I am just missing something in my setup and/or program???
I appreciate any tips you care to throw my way.

Take a look on your diagnostic screen and see if there is more information to that particuliar alarm. I think you maybe just looking at the alarm at the bottom of the position page.

My book says something about the tail stock or tail spindle. Maybe you are in an interference position.

Hei Friend,

Just check whether you have given any magazine cover close command in your programme, also check whether the tool merasuring unit is obstructing your tool / axis movement. After the tool measuring unit is used it should be made to close.
