Hey ! I am told we should be able to peck tap on a Mazak. We have all horizontal machines, with M32 - Matrix controls. And write all of our programs in EIA. I was told just to use a g84.2 with a Q to determine the depth of peck. Anybody heard of this ? Thanks, Frank

| Yes.. you can peck tap on a Mazak... You don't have to use G84.2 either. G84.2 simply forces IPR tap feed.... All you need to do is put "Q" value input... Same way you'd do any ol' drilling cycle...
