Anyone have a spare hi/low unit from a universal 10?

I appears our main shaft somehow got gobbled up. We need a new shaft and pullies or an entire used shifting assembly. Anyone got a hookup? This is a T1 Universal Mazak lathe. Everything else on this lathe is a sweet heart!

Hi Carbidecraters,
Sorry, don't have any info on used parts other than check with Mazak or turn em' yourself(prolly way cheaper!). Is this the same one that was rocking the spindle last part of Sept and if so, what did you find that was causing that problem and how did you solve it? Just curious, never got a follow up.

Yes this is the same bastard lathe...LOL I found the old owner had a schematic of an even older Mazak that they had the mainshaft marked out on as $1400. One of the moderators here sent me a blow up of the assembly of the correct year and sure enough wouldnt you know it the pullies have a drive key so maybe there is some hope. If I get a chance tomorrow night I will disassemble the unit and post up some pics. I discovered this at about 1:00am last night.

Well the hi/low checked out good and the clutch teeth were even still in very good condition. I believe we either have a encoder issue or its the damn drive again. That dirve is jsut out of warrantee.
