    Required height for bringing in a Mazak VTC-41

    I wanted to find out what the required height for bringing in a Mazak VTC-41 into a garage. I have a 84" opening. I think it will be tight if not impossible get in. I posted a simular post for a haas VF-1

    any help would be appreicated

    making the haas fit

    you can remove the Z-axis motor, gore tube and if needed the counter balane cylinder for extra clearance. The counter ballance cylinder is under pressure so be carfull bu8t it can be done. Call me for more info 818-346-7985 or email John@machineryresources.com

    VTC41 Fit

    Operating manual machine specs page says 109.5 inches. I suppose that is to the top of the Z motor or counterbalance which ever is higher. Weight is listed as 8600 pounds. Too close to call without actually measuring. Spec sheet was too large to post, sorry!

    P.S. As with the Haas, you can remove the counterbalance and Z motor but it still is gonna be tight.
