| I have a 2001 mazak fusion 640M and I need a program example for a 1.250 x 11.5 NPT for thread milling. I know to start with manual program and put the tool info in, but not sure after that. Can anyone help me. |

the only way i've been able to thread mill pipe threads is with an inserted thread mill that has an insert as long as the thread. I did this making gas pump handles for a guy. thousands of them on a v414 with fusion 640m, and a-axis. Mikiemo |

You can use Mazatrol Manual Program to call the tool, start the spindle and position the tool then jumpout of Mazatrol into a EIA program and write a straight line incremental polar movement, sayat 5 degrees from your start position about the centre with X, Y, and Z movement and repeat this 71 times as a sub routine, then put that sub into another and repeat for the number of revolutions that you need. |

| Did you get get this solved? The answers that I have read here are all long and more difficult than need be. Simple manual program is all that's needed. We cut tapered threads all day everyday. Best thread mill is tool-flo. 2" NPT 8 sec start to finish. |
