I'm facing a part in a QT6T (lathe) with a T-Plus control. Is there a way in Mazatrol to have the tool tip pass X0 by say .02? Mazatrol doesn't seem to like negative numbers. Likewise is there a was to have a tool path start in positive Z by a certain amount say and extra .1? |

| An EDG unit, or it might be just a straight FCE on a T1 will have the tool come down past centerline, a BAR-FCE will not. How far you start off the part, is parameter driven, and should be able to be changed for a single unit in TPC, U8 and U9 come to mind, but I haven't used a T+ in about 18 months. IIRC a T+ will take negative #s in some instances, but not all, then again, that may be parameter driven. |
