We are wondering if there is a way to use the probe in a mazak to find deviations for hole locations in a different way than just probing a hole and using the numbers from the part origin wpc and the hole probe wpc to calculate this. They are looking for a feature like the toshiba bars we have can do where it will probe a hole and tell you how the hole deviates from where it is programmed. I hope I worded this so it makes sense. Thanks. |

| I don't think you can do this from within mazatrol, though you can with g-code. The values from the probe are sent to an offset value, which you can then compare with the ideal diameter. Write a macro to compare the two and send the difference to your tool offset value, and it will (should) be self-correcting. |
