Our Quickturn T32 will sometimes lose its X and Z positions (tool touch offs) only after powering it off and back on. Does anyone know why this could be? I would think that if it was the encoder then it would be all over the place. Thanks |

| One possibility is the mechanical limit switches that are used to home out the machine. If they are sticking it can cause the machine to home out at slightly different positions. Thus the value from home position to tool touch off will change. |

| If this is so then you have a bad encoder. If it is all over and and never the same amount anytime your home reference switch is probally sticking, loose or the trip dog is loose. |
