Problem- M Plus Alarms

I am trying to get a HTC 400 with M-Plus control running after moving to another plant

2 issues

128 outside axis interlock when trying to MDI

101 Soft limit X axis when trying to home

105 Soft limit Z axis when trying to home

Any assistance would be appriciated - Mazak manuals are not the best

M+ Soft Limit Reset

Go to Machine Paramerters


Machine parameter M8 (or m9 if needed)

1. Write down original M8 and M9 values.

2. Do one axis at a time.

3. Set problem axis to 99999999 (and -99999999 respectively)

4. Power cnc off/on

5. Now move axis towards home position until the axis decels and begins to move on it's own and reaches the home position

6. Go back and return the original values to each problem axis

7. Power off/on

8. Do the same for each problem axis.

Only warning is if axis are close to home positions jog minus to center axis stroke before performing above operation.

Your 128 axis interlock is generated by trying to go to MDI and not being homed. Should go away after homing.

I had a similar problem with a T32 control after the memory battery went dead. After reloading the parameters, the Z axis would hit the soft limit well before it reached the home position.

Used the same procedure Leelund discribed (although different parameter numbers for the T32) and it worked like a champ!
