Mazak ST25ATC MC Alarm 131

It has a Mazatrol CAM T-3 control. The alarm is 131 ILLEGAL
PARAMETER DATA (M1-M12). Deeper into the history there is also a 150
ILLEGAL POCKET NUMBER.

Mazak says I need to re initialize the control. The battery took a dump. I have never done this with a Mazak. Does anyone have the procedure for this? and where I back up what I fear is gone?

you can get the procedure from mitsubishi. their number is 847-478-2500, option 5.

you need to type 3 and then INIT on the program edit page, this will delete the memory, or you can use the toggle switches on the memory card. problem is, you will need to upload the parameters, options, macros and programs....so you must have back ups. before upload you will need to set the in/out parameters to enable comms from a laptop or external pc.
