If I push "MNT" button, then "version" , I get a page that has a list of options, listed below:

1: EIA (I take it that means "g code")
2: dnc (so I should be able to up/downlaod thru rs232)
3: spiral (helical interpolation?)
4: EIA 3-D comp (no idea what this is)
5: rotation
6: geometric (no idea what this is)
7: scaling
8: EXT-data I/O (no idea what this is)

10: MEM 76m
11: FLX print



When I try to send out a program with dnc, I get a "570 no dnc option" alarm, the alarm manual says that I need to have dnc installed. But isnt that what #2 on the list above is telling me I already have?

So, is this list on my control what my control actually has?
If so, why do I get the dnc alarm?
What do options 4, 6, and 8 do?
