MAZAK QT10 & BAR PULLER

I JUST PURCHASED A MAZAK QT-10 ( 1996 T-PLUS CONTROLL ) AND I WOULD LIKE TO USE A BAR PULLER BUT I GET A ERROR WHEN I TELL THE MACHINE TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE COLLET. THE ERROR IS ILLEGAL M CODE.
DOES ANY BODY KNOW THE SOFTWARE CODE TO ENABLE THESE TWO M CODES

Could it be your moving the turret at the same time?

Check your electrical manual. I think it is parameter R49. I forget which bit of this parameter you have to change to allow auto chuck open/close.

Make sure you put an M5 in before the M6 line or the chuck will not open.

Thank you very much!!! You were right R49 is the location to turn on a T-PLUS control. A freind of mine has QT-10 the same year as mine and he looked at the "R MACHINE CODE PAGE" and we found 6 differnces one being R49. So we changed R49 to "01001010" and now the open and close "M COMANDS" work.
Somebody ought to keep a log of these "UNDOCUMENTED MACHINE CONTROLS".

Figured I would chime in and add that this is the parameter for the 640T Fusion control as well. I just used it on my '99 QT250HP.
