Robot quirk...Multiplex 6200 (Y)

In our shop we have 6 multiplex 6200's 2 of which are Y axis capable.

One of the multiplex's has a robot quirk that I would like to duplicate on the other 5.

Here is the scenario. Normal operation with robot commands in machine, (mazatrol programming) when robot is reset, the top shutter doors open at the time the robot would normally come in, even though it has been reset. We have one machine that does not do this, and hasn't since the day it arrived from Mazak. With robot commands in the same places as the other 5 machines, this machine will complete part and the doors stay closed, unless the robot is running. If Robot is reset the doors stay closed. If robot is running they open and close like they are supposed to.

Is it a parameter? Could the program be written differently? Any Ideas as to how to duplicate this?

I have sompared parameters from one machine to the other, and even changed them to match, but to no avail.

The robot has its own PLC that holds the parameters it uses so you cannot change them on your own. I had issues with a gantry that took Mazak months to figure out. They finally sent out the PLC programmer and got it fixed. My gantry is a stacker carosel but I think they all use the same basic hardware. I would call Mazak Florence and talk to engineering dept. maybe you have a different PLC version in one of your gantrys. My machine is a Fusion640T so maybe things are different on a Matrix.

Our Multiplex will always open the top doors no matter if the gantry is running or not. We always have to restart past the gantry code when the gantry is not being used (first piece). Now you have me curious.
