Mazatrol EIA T zero return

Hello,

We received an old Mazak from another workshop which runs fine except that when we zero return in X the turret does not align with the spindle. And each time it may be a little different. Waiting on a replacement EIA and maintenance manuals from MazaK but need to get going. Any ideas on this? Thanks very much.

Correction of earlier post, machine repeats fine on referencing, however the loaded value is out by a few mm. We can see the preset value in the parameters but cannot access them to edit it. Any ideas on how to access parameters on this NC. Thanks very much.

I am serching for A programing & operating Maunal for Masatrol EIA Hard copy or copy from A hard copy to purchase. I just bought A mazak VTC-41 came with no Manual's. Sorry I can't help with your problem.

Hello Bob,

We sorted the problem out thanks to some good advice. Make a parameter edit then power down and power up again. We had a similar problem with manuals and are waiting on a duplicate set from Japan. Probably best for you to approach Mazak USA. Not cheap but an essential item like tooling.
