QT-200 Turret servo motor

My QT-200 machine have alarm AL-20 on Turret controller (MR-J2_100CT), I think this encoder problem (OSA14), can I replace encoder only on servomotor (HC-SF-102) ? somebody can help ..me

disconnect U V & W at the AMP. power the machine up. if alarm is still there, you have a bad Amp, if the alarm goes away,you most likly hve a bad encoder. you really need to put a MEGER on the motor to make sure the motor is OK.
