Sister Tooling on an Integrex - Anyone done it?

I've got some turning jobs to do that last about 3 hours, our tips last about 40 minutes at present but I'd like to setup sister tooling that will work on tool-life to change tools automatically after an insert has elapsed its life.

    Hence 3 hours unmanned operation!

    Has anyone done this?
Are there any issues people had with it?
Will it change tools even if its half way through a unit?
Does it work with ISO programs?

The controls I'm working with are T-Plus and Fusion 640MT.

    Thanks in advance!

    Matt

Sister tool can change only on a new tool call ( new piece for example ) butno way in half on a unit.
the only way for you is to do several unit for your long roughing .
each beguin of unit the cnc call the tool and check about his life time, and call a sister one if necessary..
you can also more easyer just call a different tool name for next unit ( like 1A, 1B...)

Tool sister is also avalaible in ISO and works exactly the same way , each time you call the tool...
