Hey Guys, I'm trying to help someone with a variaxis and rotating the co-ordinate system along with the A axis. We can do it easily in Mazatrol with a WPC shift, all is fine. The new machine has G68 3-D co-ordinate rotation ( along with G92.5 co-ordinate rotation ) They are wanting to shift the co-ordinate system like they do in mazatrol using EIA, if we had a ring that needed a hole in the side of the ring at a 90 degree angle, what is needed to be done, we have tried using G68 and G92.5, G68 got us pretty close but the Y and Z axis get swapped due to the rotation. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -S |
