Hey all: I'm running a 3d program written in Tebis that is all point to point, so there is a lot of information for the h4800 Fusion control to take, and it is slowing way down when it is run. I called the tech support for Mazak, and he suggested using G61.1 , I tried it and it still is slowing way down. Anybody have a cure ? Thanks, Frank

| How tight are the points? If its real tight, it won't matter what control you're on, you won't likely hit the number since the machine is trying keep up with it. If G61.1 is still slowing way down, then it must be pretty tight. You can try G5 instead, but you need to have the Mazaac 3D option. Other options: Repost the toolpath with looser increments if you can... repost the program to output arcs in all axis (XY, XZ, and YZ) to help some.... use Nurb Splines and let the machine calculate it (need Spline interpolation option).... or (since I don't know the shape or your part) reprogram and change the toolpath so its not using a billion lines of code to make the shape.

| Hey psyco thanks for the reply, we don't have the G5 option (yet), and with Tebis it only does point to point, so we're loosening up the tolerance and reposting, hopefully that will help. Frank
